What is "Metamorphosis?"

The simple definition: a change of physical form, structure, or substance, typically in the context of a caterpillar changing into a butterfly.
For this project, "Metamorphosis" is an event showcasing 16 large butterfly garden sculptures that highlight a major fundraising event for Hospice House.

When and where is "Metamorphosis?? |
|
The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, at the Cheboygan Ice Pavilion on Cleveland Street in Cheboygan, Northern Michigan. It will include a "Dine-Around Dinner" prepared by some of the best-known eateries in Northern Michigan, a silent auction of unique gifts and gift baskets and the live auction of the sixteen butterfly garden sculptures created especially for this fundraiser. All proceeds will go to the construction of a Solarium, a Reflection Garden and general upgrades for Hospice House. VitalCare is sponsoring the project and is happy to be working with a
large committee of Cheboygan-area community members. They are working diligently to make all the pieces come together for this event. |

Why are we doing this?
|
|
|
All proceeds from this event will be used to finance upgrades and improvements at Hospice House. The list includes a solarium for patients and their families, a large lovely Reflection Garden, new furnace, a new patient call system, replacement plumbing, and a BIG electrical generator for when the lights go out.
